Shahrukh Khan Doesn’t Keep Calculations Of Box Office Collection
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s latest film ‘Chennai Express’ is on a record-breaking spree. The film which netted Rs.33.12 crore on the opening day, went on to make historic Rs.100.42 crore in its first weekend, breaking many other records alongside.
However, Shahrukh seems to be unaffected by his film’s tremendous box office success.
Apparently, ever since the film hit the screens on Eid, trade experts and Bollywood fans have been comparing its business with Salman Khan’s last year’s Eid release ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
So recently, when SRK was asked about it, he replied, “If I start thinking on everything what people say that I will not be able to work. I don’t think there is competition. It’s a good time to release any film.”
Amusingly, Shahrukh informed that not only of other actors but he doesn’t keep calculations of even his own film’s box office collection.
“I don’t have any calculations at the box office. Also, to be honest I don’t know how much other actor’s films make money on Friday as I don’t remember how much money my last film did on Friday,” told he.
Meanwhile, Shahrukh’s ‘Chennai Express’ is still continuing its journey with ample speed. The film is performing extremely well in the weekdays too.
