Saif Ali Khan Is Perfect For Romantic Characters, Says Deepika Padukone

Deepika PadukoneDeepika Padukone‘s next film is ‘Cocktail‘ which is hitting the theaters next week. In the film, Deepika is playing a role of a girl named ‘Veronica’ who lives her life on her own terms.

Talking about her character in ‘Cocktail’, Deepika says, “Veronica has grown up in a broken family so she hasn’t got the conventional love from her parents. She is feisty but not a rebel. She is a super confident girl who craves for attention. She is a girl who is out there to have fun and enjoy herself.”

Deepika further tells that although ‘Veronica’ is a mentally strong girl, she is very emotional at heart.

“She is not apologetic about herself and is looking for stability because she has not had that in her life. At the same time, she is very emotional,” informed she.

Deepika has been paired up with Saif Ali Khan in the film who has worked in many romantic films. So, what does she think of Saif as a romantic hero?

The actress replies that Saif is perfect to play the romantic character. “In spite of him having worked so much, he is still someone who fits into these young love stories and romantic characters,” she tells.

‘Cocktail’ is written by Imtiaz Ali and directed by Homi Adajania. It is releasing on July 13.
