Ranveer Singh Gives Credit To Aditya Chopra For His Success

Actor Ranveer Singh who made his Bollywood debut with Yash Raj’s ‘Band Baaja Baraat’, is one of the most sought after young stars of the industry today. And the actor gives all the credits of his success to Aditya Chopra for believing in his talent.

In his recent interview, Rabveer said, “Aditya Chopra is my mentor and at the time he selected me to do ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, he had the fortitude to take an unknown face and a guy from nowhere, who was not the best looking guy in the world and give him a lead role in such a fantastic film.”

Ranveer admits that not many were confident about casting him for ‘BBB’ but Aditya still believed in him and he will always be indebted to the filmmaker for his gratitude.

“Every one’s opinion about me was not positive when he decided to cast me. He had a sole conviction in me. I will always be indebted to him for that. He taught me values and principles of how to go about with your work,” told he.

Ranveer is currently working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ which went on the floors last week. The film is based on Shakespeare’s famous play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and it has a backdrop of Gujarat.
