I Want Everybody To See ‘Oh My God’ : Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar in Oh My GodAkshay Kumar is gearing up himself for the release of his home production film ‘Oh My God’ which is hitting the screens on September 28.

‘OMG’ is based on Gujarati play ‘Kanji Viruddh Kanji’ which tells the story of an atheist person called Kanjibhai.

Akshay believes the film is very entertaining and he wants everyone to see it.

“I was surprised when I saw the play. I would want everybody to see the film. It is not a preachy movie. It is a fun and entertaining film but yet there is a layer in the film that will hit the audience,” said he.

The film has Paresh Rawal as a central character and Akshay is playing a role of ‘Lord Krishna’. However, the superstar has not donned traditional wears to play the God. In fact, he would be seen riding a bike, wearing modern clothes as he is a modern God in the film.

“My look is kept modern as I have to move with everybody, I have to move with time. When God comes he will not show his identity. He is a normal God wearing normal clothes,” told he.

‘OMG’ is directed by Umesh Shukla who also directed ‘Kanji Viruddh Kanji’. It also stars Mithun Chakraborty in an important role.
