Madhuri Dixit Starrer ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ Postponed, Will Release On January 31, 2014
In the latest development, the release of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, which was scheduled to release on December 13, has been postponed to next year.
Apparently, the ‘Ishqiya’ sequel was eagerly awaited by Bollywood fans as it stars Madhuri Dixit, who is coming back on the big screen after a long time, in the lead role alongside acting powerhouses like Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.
But filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, whose ‘Highway’ starring Randeep Hodda and Ali Bhatt is also hitting the screens on the same date, requested Vishal to not release his film on the same date. Vishal too was generous on his part as he happily accepted Sajid’s request.
Now, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ will come out on January 31, 2013. The sequel also featuring Huma Qureshi is directed by Abhishek Chaubey.
Meanwhile, although Madhuri fans might have to wait longer to watch her in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, they will see their favorite actress in action film ‘Gulaab Gang’ very soon.
