Madhuri Dixit Signs ‘Dedh Ishqiya’
It’s been long since the reports of Madhuri Dixit making her comeback with ‘Dedh Ishqiya‘ are doing around. However, the actress always refused to confirm her presence in the film. But finally, Ms.Dixit has agreed to star in the film.
Announcing her presence in the film, Madhuri tweeted, “Hey guys, back in action. On sets for Star’s Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishqiya. ‘Jhalak’ right around the corner. More to come!.”
Madhuri will be seen essaying the grey character in the film. “Madhuri will play a grey character called Shahi Begum. She is paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah. The character calls for nawaabi style mein ishq ladaana and spouting shayiris,” told, a source close to the film.
About Madhuri doing ‘Dedh Ishqiya’, her manager Rikku Rakeshnath said, “Madhuri is doing the film, and she is very charged up about it. Vishal was keen that she do this film. Though talks have been going on for a few months, we had the final narration last Saturday, where Madhuri said yes. The money and dates have also been sorted.”
‘Desh Ishqiya’ is going on floors in May. “We will start shooting from May,” stated, a spokesperson from Shemaroo, co-producer of the film.
