I Have Immense Faith In My Talent : Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film ‘Barfi!’ has got terrific response at the box office and his performance in the film is being hailed as best performmance of his career. Everyone, critics as well as audience, has started believing that Ranbir is the next big thing of Bollywood and he will soon be among the biggest superstars of the country.

But the actor says he doesn’t see himself that way, even though he wants to be the biggest superstar of the country.

“I don’t consider myself anything like that. But yes, I aspire to be the biggest superstar and the greatest actor in the country someday! How much time, sacrifice and work that will require I don’t know, but I am willing to put in all that to achieve it,” says he.

Ranbir also admits that he is a super confident of his talent as an actor. “I am an immensely arrogant person where talent is concerned. I may not be the best looking guy around, may not have the best body and may not even be the most talented guy in the industry, but I have immense faith in my talent, my passion and my drive,” tells he.

Ranbir is one of the most popular stars of his generation and he belives that being good at heart is the main reason of his popularity. He states that one can have the best of everything but if he doesn’t have any soul then audience will not be conncted with him.

“I have a good heart, which is what the audience connects with. You could have the best body, like Sylvester Stallone, with a great face, like Brad Pitt, but the audience connects with someone only if he has sincerity in his heart,” asserts he.

Ranbir’s next film is Dharma Productions’ ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ in which he is working with Deepika Padukone. The film is being directed by Ayaan Mukherjee who also directed Ranbir in ‘Wake Up Sid’.
