I Am Content, Says Vidya Balan On Her First National Award
Vidya Balan who recently won her first national award of best actress for her brilliant act in ‘The Dirty Picture‘, says she doesn’t have enough words to describe her happiness on the win.
“I am very happy and speechless, don’t know what to say,” said she on her first national award.
The talented actress further admitted that she always wanted to win at least one national award. “I had always thought of getting at least one National award in my career. I am just seven years old in this industry and I have got one,” confessed she.
With her national award win, Balan feels extremely satisfied with her career. “I feel I have got much more than I had expected. I am content,” insisted she.
However, there is no stopping for Vidya at the moment, whose latest release ‘Kahaani’ is also declared a hit at the box office. Now, Vidya has five back to back hits to her name with ‘Paa’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’ all being successful at the ticket window.
What’s more important here is that Vidya’s last four films were women-centric sand were riding on her shoulders.
