Barfi!’s Second Promo Will Be A Treat For Priyanka’s Fans, Says Anurag Basu

Priyanka ChopraThe first theatrical trailer of Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi!‘ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz, got released some times back and it has got great response from the viewers.

However, it’s lead actress Priyanka Chopra’s fans were not very happy with the trailer as it shown too little of her.

But director Anurag Basu says it was their conscious decision to show less of Priyanka Chopra and build curiosity around it.

He said, “It was a conscious decision to give more limelight to Ranbir Kapoor’s character and Priyanka to be kept at a bay.”

The director also promised that their film’s next promo will exclusively focus on Priyanka’s character ‘Jhilmil’ and it will be a treat for her fans.

“Next promo however, will turn out to be a sheer treat for her fans as we will introducing Jhilmil,” added Anurag.

In ‘Barfi!’, Priyanka Chopra essays a character named ‘Jhilmil’ who is an autistic girl. The film is slated to release on September 14.
