The Audience Won’t Recognize Me in Maneesh’s Film, Says Parineeti Chopra
Actress Parineeti Chopra who has played a role of a gregarious girl in her first two films ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Behl’ and ‘Ishaqzaade’, is all set showcase different side of her acting skills in her upcoming Yash Raj Film.
The film is being directed by ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ fame Maneesh Sharma and Parineeti is playing a shy-introvert character in it.
Talking about her character in the film, Parineeti says, “When the audience sees me in Maneesh’s film it won’t recognize me as the talkative extrovert I played in my first two films. It cuts away my boisterous bubbly image.”
The young actress also asserts that even though she is fine with those extrovert characters, she personally wants to play quite characters more.
“I’m not averse to playing extroverted characters. But I want to be acknowledged in quieter spaces,” she says.
The YRF film also featuring Sushant Singh Rajput is scheduled to release by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Parineeti has also been signed on to play the lead role opposite Siddharth Malhotra in Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor’s next co-production ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’.
