Anushka Sharma Enjoys Winning Awards
Anushka Sharma who once admitted being upset over losing Best debutant award for her first Bollywood film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, has received several awards this season for her brilliant act in Yash Chopra’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’.
Naturally, she is very glad to be honored and she states that loves receiving awards. She even confesses that she gets so hassled while receiving trophies that she can’t speak a word.
In her recent media interaction, Anusha said, “Whenever I get an award, I don’t understand what to say while receiving it on the stage. I have nothing to say. Sometimes, only because I get so hassled because of the speech, I say ‘don’t give me awards’,” said she.
Anushka further admits that her parents also get overjoyed seeing her winning awards and that’s why she loves it even more.
“The first time that I won an award, I felt very nice. My parents were very happy. So I feel good winning these awards because it gives so much happiness to my parents,” she revealed.
Anushka is at the moment busy preparing for Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘P.K.’. The film starring Aami Khan and Anushka in the lead roles goes on floors on February 15.
