I Didn’t Want To Be An Actor : Ajay Devgn
Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn who was one of the guest speakers at the India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2012, stated that rather than screaming, he likes his work to speak for itself.
Talking to media, Ajay said, “I believe works speaks for itself and to be famous you don’t need to shout out loud.”
He believes there are many in the industry who seek attention but he is not among them and he let his work do all the talking. He said, “There are two kinds of actors in this industry one who seek attention and other who let people talk about their work. I have had my three movies in the 100 crore club then why do I need to to scream to let people know about me?
The superstar also revealed that he never wanted to be an actor but he became so by the opportunity.
“I always wanted to make films and not act. I was 19 and enjoying college life when my father’s friend offered me a film. I was not at all ready but a month later I was shooting for it. The whole while I was not interested in the film and thought if it works good otherwise I will go back to making films. But I was lucky that the film worked and I got many more offers,” told Ajay.
Ajay is right now busy with the post production work of his upcoming home production film ‘Son Of Sardaar’. The film is all set to release on Diwali.
